Victoria Marechal, QuickBooks Advanced Certified Professional Advisor + Technical Writer + ACT! Certified Consultant

In 1988 Victoria Marechal, opened her business,  Marshall Associates, to offer accounting, database, and software consulting services to cover a wide range of services to a broad scope of enterprises including entertainment, financial services, government, health care, legal, manufacturing, non-profit, real estate (construction, development, and property management) plus retail among others.  She works in conjunction with IT computer professionals and CPAs to implement synergistic software solutions. In addition she is an Act! Certified Consultant and a QuickBooks Certified Professional Advisor.

In addition she is a technical writer most notabily the author of Intuit's official QuickBooks Job Costing manual.  She has written numerous articles about accounting and databases.

Prior to opening her own firm, she honed her software expertise at Qualysis, a UNIX spreadsheet software development company, in the dual role of Accounting Manager and Director of Quality Assurance working with the highly respected Laurence Flon, Ph.D. and Ellis Horowitz, Ph.D.,  While there she wrote bug reports. Ms. Marechal began her consulting career setting up accounting systems on mid market accounting solutions.

Victoria excels as a database designer and systems integrator. She also serves as an out-source controller and accounting consultant for businesses. She is also a forensic consultant.  Prior to her professional pursuits, she attended Louisiana Polytechnic University in Ruston, Louisiana.
